Biography
Chris is a Director of Empowering You, the leadership, diversity and inclusion specialists responsible for the “Empowering Women to Lead Cyber Security” initiative. Chris is a firm believer in the capacity of authentic and diverse leadership to drive sustainable cultural change. As Partnerships Director at Empowering You, Chris is responsible for developing collaborative relationships across government, industry and academia with organisations who share their vision for a more diverse, inclusive and successful tech eco-system.
In addition to Empowering You, Chris is also the Founder and Director of a communications and stakeholder engagement consultancy. Prior to starting his own business, Chris had over 14 years experience as Commercial Director for Scotland’s leading political and public sector media company, where he supported many of Scotland’s leading private companies, public bodies, charities and professional associations on their stakeholder engagement, public affairs and public sector engagement strategies.
