Is your business prepared for the Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PTSI) Act? Join us for a jargon-free overview of this new legislation concerning the security of consumer-facing IoT devices and find out what support is available to your organisation.
The Act is aimed at ensuring unsecure and cyber-vulnerable IoT products cannot enter the market if they do not meet legal security standards. The UK Government has set a deadline of 29 April 2024 for companies to implement changes mandated by the legislation.
There are significant implications for businesses that designing, manufacturing, importing and selling ‘smart’ products aimed at consumers including things like:

* home security and alarm systems
* smart TVs
* toys and baby monitors
* home hubs and voice-activated assistants

This session will be delivered by CENSIS, the centre of excellence for sensing, imaging and IoT technologies, and IASME, an organisation committed to helping businesses improve their cyber security, risk management and good governance through an effective and accessible range of certifications.
