The Scottish Government in collaboration with the CyberScotland Partnership are delighted to announce this call to funding aimed at bolstering cyber resilience across the nation.
In line with our commitment to fostering a secure digital environment, we are inviting organisations to submit proposals for grant-funded activity which delivers progress on specific aims and outcomes of the Strategic Framework for a Cyber Resilient Scotland and receive funding ranging from £5,000 to £50,000. With a focus on enhancing cyber resilience in specific target groups, we encourage applicants to address the outlined areas of priority. Collaborative proposals are also welcomed, fostering the spirit of cooperation and knowledge sharing within Scotland’s cyber security community.
Application details: Each organisation can submit up to three separate outline proposals, presenting their unique approaches to strengthening cyber resilience. To be considered, proposed activities must be concluded by March 31, 2024. We encourage applicants to carefully review the criteria and guidelines provided to ensure their proposals align with the desired outcomes.
Fostering National Cyber Resilience: The primary objective of this funding call is to contribute to the national cyber resilience outcome as defined in the Strategic Framework: People recognise cyber risks and are well prepared to manage them. By focusing on specific target groups, we aim to support initiatives that build cyber resilience capacity in the following areas:
– People for whom English is not their first language.
– People living in rural and/or remote communities.
– People living in areas of social deprivation.
– Disabled people and people with specific learning needs.
– Minority ethnic people.
Full details are found in the Outline Proposal Form which can be downloaded at the bottom of this article.
Proposals must be submitted by midnight, Monday 24 July 2023.
