One of the world’s first illustrated cyber security books for children aged 4-7, The Bongles and the Crafty Crows, is set to be included once again in the Book Bug Bags provided to every Primary 1 child in Scotland. This engaging and colourful story introduces young readers to essential concepts like passwords and passcodes in a fun, approachable way.
Created by Story Learning in collaboration with Education Scotland and the Scottish Government, The Bongles and the Crafty Crows is designed to help children and their families build a foundation in cyber security awareness. Parents and teachers can also access free teaching resources to extend learning beyond the book.
During Scottish Book Week (18-22 November 2024), special Read-Along sessions will be held to bring the story to life for young readers. There are four 30 minute children’s read along sessions and an educator information webinar opportunity. Find out more about the events here.
Don’t miss the chance to find a copy in your local library and share this important learning experience with your child.
