Organisations interested in learning more about ‘Exercise in a Box’ are invited to attend an online taster session on the 25th August.
From early August, the Scottish Business Resilience Centre will run an extended programme of online and in-person workshops for those in the public sector as well as teams working in health, housing, and social care in Scotland’s third sector to take them through cyber exercising.
Exercise in a Box is an online tool from the National Cyber Security Centre which helps organisations test and practise their response to a cyber attack in a safe environment.
It is completely free, and you don’t have to be a cyber security expert to use it. The service provides cyber exercises based on the main cyber threats, which your organisation can do in your own time, in a safe environment, as often as you want. It includes everything you need for setting up, planning, delivery, and post-exercise activity, all in one place.
This taster session will look at what Exercise in a Box is in detail and how it can benefit your organisation. You will hear from guest speakers/organisations who have already taken part in one of the SBRC Exercise in a Box workshops with a Q&A at the end of the session.
If you’re not entirely sure what Exercise in a Box is or whether it is right for you and your organisation, this is the perfect event to find out!
If you work in health, social care, housing, charitable or public sector organisation in Scotland looking to strengthen your cyber defences, sign up for the taster session here.
