Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland

Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland are encouraging public and third sector organisations from across Scotland to sign up for one of their free ‘Exercise in a box’ online sessions.

Exercise in a Box is an online tool from the NCSC which helps organisations test and practise their response to a cyber-attack. It is completely free, and you don’t have to be an expert to use it. The service provides exercises, based around the main cyber threats, which your organisation can do in your own time, in a safe environment, as many times as you want. It includes everything you need for setting up, planning, delivery, and post-exercise activity, all in one place.

They are running FREE, 90-minute non-technical workshop which will help organisations and charities find out how resilient they are to cyber attacks and practise their response in a safe environment.

Currently, the Exercise in a Box sessions offer various scenarios including, ‘Working from Home’, ‘Digital Supply Chain’, ‘Sensitive Data Leak‘ and ‘Ransomware’. The Micro Exercise sessions will discuss some of the basics of good cyber housekeeping to ensure all organisations, regardless of their sector or level of cyber knowledge, can benefit.

If you work in health, social care, housing, charitable or public sector organisation in Scotland, sign up below.
