Social media can be great. But many people have a complicated relationship with social media. It can drain your time and mental energy, and also leave you vulnerable to lots of online harms. This session looks at some of the biggest dangers you might come across on social media, from phishing messages and fake adverts to cyberbullying and inappropriate content. You will learn about how making small changes to your accounts can have big impacts on your online experience, and how to deal with difficult situations online. And at the end of the session, there will be plenty of time to ask any questions you may have about staying safe on social media.
